FRAME is built on top of EDALab AMG framework (Advanced Management Gateway), whose modularity and flexibility allow for a total customization for easy and quick integration in every business process.

FRAME allows the customer to deploy different kinds of services such as Wi-Fi HotSpots, ADSL connectivity both in traditional or captive portal way up to access and authorization management inside customer's environment. The use of Google Web Toolkit makes the GUI really appealing and easy to use, without losing the robustness and simplicity of professional applications.

The whoile application is released as a virtual machine tailored to customer's needs, thus avoiding the customer the burden of installation and low-level configuration.
According to customer's requirments, hi-availabilty and fault tolerance features can be added.

• Cross browser: the GUI is entirely built with Google Web Toolkit, thus ensuring compatibility with the mosta widespread web browsers.
• Dashboard: Data can be displayed in a user-customizable thanks to the portlet-based layout that allows to move, reorganize and disable every single data frame.
• Optimized communication protocol: the client-server communication protocol uses the JSON standard and has been optimized to minimize network traffic.
• Customizable user authentication: FRAME operators' login can be managed through internal authentication or through external data source like DBs (MySQL/Postgresql), LDAP or other.
• Wholesale management: the advanced user profiling allows the customer to totally delegate the management of subnets.
• NAS drivers: FRAME's integrated drivers permit to monitor and remotely control network devices. It's moreover possible to develop propritary drivers.
• Advanced Network Management: FRAME allows to manage static/dynamic/mixed networks, online network resizing and address reservation.
• API: interoperability with external systems through the SOAP protocol.
• Multilanguage Support: native support of Italian and English languages with easy integration of other languages.
• W3C compliant logging: the application generates W3C-compliant log which can easily be viewed and analyzed with most common log visualizer.
