Architecture
FRAME architecture relies on EDALab's proprietary AMG (Advanced Management Gateway) framework,
which is based on the concept of distributed service, that is a key concept in the context of SOA
(Service Oriented Architecture) architectures.
At a high level, the architecture relies on a stack of 4 distinct levels which can be developed
independently to add features or customizations.
The use of standards protocols like JSON and SOAP ensures the best possible modularity and
integration with other applications.
-
Presentation and External Interaction Level::
manages data presentation towards the user and device access.
-
Access Control Level:
permits a fine-grained user authentication and authorization inside the system.
-
Business Logic Level:
ensures process logic and coherence.
-
Data Access Level:
manages data access (DB, LDAP, etc...).
